Zero-Click Search — Meaning & How to Win

Definition

What is Zero-click search?

A zero-click search is a query that ends on the results page itself — the user gets their answer from an AI Overview, featured snippet, knowledge panel or map pack and never clicks through to a website. A majority of searches now end this way.

How to win without the click

Be the source the answer is built from: the cited site in the AI Overview, the snippet owner, the map-pack entry. The visit may not happen, but the brand impression and trust do — and high-intent queries still click.

Reading about SEO is optional. Doing it isn’t.

SERP Agent runs the whole program — audit, strategy, content, links and AI-search visibility — every day, on its own.

Don’t put off till tomorrow the growth that can run on autopilot today.
